Au-flat™ grids are ultrastable Cryo-EM sample supports featuring a 45nm holey Gold/Pd alloy film on 3mm gold mesh grids. They are derivatives of the patented C-Flat^TM grids and are likewise manufactured without plastics, therefore clean upon arrival and without any residue to contend with.
