The apochromatic optics with 8:1 zoom provide images of outstanding image contrast and color accuracy. The user-friendly microscope with its high quality optics enables quick and easy documentation at resolutions up to 4K (with AxioCam 208).

Description

Stemi 508 allows observation and documentation of samples as they are: rich in detail, sharp in focus and free from color fringes. The large object field of 36mm helps keeping the overview of the samples. The 8:1 zoom enables the visualisation of small details and tiny structures with a magnification up to 50x, with interchangeable optics even up to 250x. Using interchangeable optics the area of observation can be enlarged to 122mm and a free working distance of 287mm. The modular system of Stemi 508 ranges from basic stands with reflected and transmitted illumination to overhanging tilt-arm stands for high mobility and large samples. The low viewing angle of 35° enables an ergonomic work posture for long working hours.

The illumination options range from integrated LED light to external fiber optic cold light source with various light guides and accessories for high brightness and special contrasts like polarization.
