- Stärker und weniger biegsam: die verwendeten Goldnetzchen sind 6 Mikrometer dicker und so etwas härter und daher weniger bieg-/deformierbar
- Verbesserte Bildqualität und Auflösung durch verringerte Teilchenbewegung
