Product Details
Description
The ZEISS Axiocam 202 mono is an intelligent 2-megapixel camera ideal for routine fluorescence documentation. The CMOS chip sensor with image diagonal of 13 mm and large pixel size offers high sensitivity for fluorescence acquisition.
Two operating modes are available:
- Stand-alone mode: operate the camera directly via the on-screen display (OSD) without a PC. Automatic adjustment of brightness and white balance, as well as functions such as sharpening and noise reduction, make documentation easy and efficient.
- PC or network connection: Connect the camera to a computer via USB, Ethernet or WLAN (via Wi-Fi dongle) and use software such as Labscope with its intuitive GUI for fluorescence documentation or ZEN with additional processing an analysis.
Combined with microscope stands such as Axiolab 5, Axioscope 5 or Axioscope 7, you can experience the whole world of intelligent microscopy. The camera communicates with the microscope and automatically takes over scaling information and enables multichannel fluorescence images with a single button.
Operating without a PC:
- The ZEISS Axiocam 202 mono can be conveniently controlled via the on-screen display (OSD) without any additional software or hardware.
- Use the mouse to open the OSD menu in the live image - it closes automatically after about 5 seconds of inactivity.
- Capture images, create videos and multi-channel fluorescence images - anything is possible.
- The auto exposure function ensures uniform image brightness by continuously adjusting the exposure time to the light intensity.
- Mark, measure or label the live image.

Highlights:
- Single button multichannel fluorescence acquisition when combined with Axiolab 5 or Axioscope 5 stands in stand-alone mode (with no PC)
- Choose between 12 bit or 8 bit digitization
- High sensitivity sensor with large pixel size for fluorescence documentation
- Image optimization functions such as sharpening and noise reduction for high-quality live images
- Stand-alone operation with direct image viewing and storage on USB stick
- Simple and efficient digital documentation
- Flexible connection options via USB, Ethernet, WLAN and HDMI
- WLAN-capable for wireless control of the camera with the Labscope imaging software
