LUXOR C, Carbon Coater
LU02-001-C
Product Details
Description
The LUXOR-C is a fully automated carbon coater engineered for high-precision sample preparation for electron microscopy with chemical analysis. The conductive carbon coating is suitable for floor-model, desktop, and high-resolution FE-SEM systems equipped with EDX/EDS detectors.
Featuring a Bradley-type carbon rod evaporation source, the LUXOR-C applies a uniform, ultra-thin carbon layer to SEM samples to prevent charging and deliver reliable, repeatable elemental analysis results.
The system is fully compatible with LUXOR sample holders, accommodating standard pin stubs, cylindrical stubs, and resin-embedded specimens. These holders can also be used with the LUXOR-Au and LUXOR-Pt sputter coaters—ideal for laboratories running multiple coating instruments.
Delivered with all required accessories and components, the LUXOR-C becomes a complete, stand-alone carbon coating solution when paired with the optional vacuum pump.
Benefits
FULLY AUTOMATED & EASY TO USE
The LUXOR-C offers effortless operation. Simply select the coating time via the integrated touchscreen and press START—the system automatically manages the pump, voltage, vacuum, and current. No manual adjustments required.
MINIMIZE CROSS-CONTAMINATION
As a dedicated stand-alone carbon coater, the LUXOR-C eliminates the risk of contamination associated with metal sputter coating.
FAST, EFFICIENT WORKFLOW
Capable of handling up to 7 samples at once, the LUXOR-C combines precise carbon coating with impressive speed, boosting overall lab productivity.
ENHANCED OPERATOR & SEM SAFETY
Its unique upside-down design provides added protection for both the user and the SEM column, helping safeguard valuable equipment.
BUILT TO LAST — MADE IN GERMANY
Compact yet durable, the LUXOR-C is engineered for intensive, long-term use. Its robust construction ensures reliable performance for years to come.
